Most men wouldn’t mind marrying up, and there is no better catch than a politician’s eligible daughter.

There are many perks that come with it: proximity to power and moneyed family networks, besides being cushioned from the vagaries of everyday life.

In the ranks of countries with the hottest ladies, we are in the list? Do you know your favorite politician’s daughters?

Lupita Nyong’o

The Oscar award-winning actress is Kenya’s best celluloid export Lupita Nyong’o, is the second daughter of Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang Nyong’o.

She has earned major bucks, having appeared in highly rated Hollywood films like ‘12 Years a Slave’ in 2013, ‘Us, Non-Stop’, ‘Queen of Katwe’, ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, ‘Black Panther’ and ‘The Jungle Boo’.

The alumnus of Nairobi’s Rusinga School and Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, USA, also attended the Yale School of Drama and follows the trend of the Nyong’o’s in education.

The black beauty speaks Spanish, Luo, English and Kiswahili.

Apart from acting, Lupita is also a filmmaker and in 2009, she was honoured for directing, editing and producing ‘In My Genes’, a documentary which followed the stories of Kenyans living with albinism.

She was the 142nd actress to receive an Academy Award, at The 86th Academy Awards on March 2, 2014.

Ngina Kenyatta

The second child and only daughter of President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta first made her public appearance in 2013, when her father became Head of State following the 2013 General Election.

Ngina was named after her grandmother, Mama Ngina Kenyatta. She  loves music and a fan of Kavi Pratt, a musician and a member of the Kenyatta family.

The private love life of the alumnus of South Africa’s Hilton College is behind a veil of secrecy.

Tallisa Moi

She is the granddaughter of Kenya’s second president Daniel Arap Moi, and the daughter to Philip Moi.

She attended the prestigious St Andrews University in the UK, famous for being the alma mater of Kate Middleton and her hubby, Prince William.

From St Andrews, Tallisa moved to Oxford. She hit the news years back when she was rumoured to be dating Jaba, the second son of President Uhuru after the two publicly shared photos on Instagram.

Makenna Passaris

She is the daughter of Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris’ beauty does not go unnoticed.

The petite lass with the looks of a model came to the limelight in 2012 when she launched her music career at the age of 16.

“Music brings me happiness. I have big dreams to grow, satisfy and retain fans,” she says, adding that she sings about her views on life and the world. “I want to be the first Kenyan to win a Grammy,” she adds.

She attended ACS Cobham International School in the UK, where she studied music.

Some of her favourite international artistes are Rihanna, Akon, TI, T-Pain, Christina Aguilera and Beyoncé.

Makenna has worked with top music writers such as English artists Richard Darbyshire and Sonia Jones, who works with Sony Music Records to enhance her music career. She loves travelling and hanging out with friends.

Andrea Kenneth

She is the daughter to former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth, who was running Mike against Mike Sonko in the Nairobi governor race.

Her beauty first stirred social media when she and her brother Andrew were introduced in 2012.The lass first made headlines in 2012 when Peter Kenneth was launching his presidential bid and since then she has been a dazzle to many men, but she is taken, guys.

June Ruto

She is the daughter of Deputy President William Ruto. She is a black beauty and known by many for her humble nature.

She was spotted handling a professional camera and snapping away family moments during one of the DP’s briefings at the International Criminal court (ICC), at The Hague, Netherlands.

June confessed that photography was one of her hobbies.

Rosemary Odinga

She is the daughter of NASA leader Raila Amollo Odinga and Ida Odinga. Her siblings are the late Castrol Fidel Odinga, Winnie Odinga, and Odinga Jnr.

Rosemary went to Rusinga School for prep school and Brook house for high school. She has a double major degree in International Business and Corporate Communications from Philadelphia, United States.
