Want To Be Served By A Mzungu Waiter? Then Visit This Restaurant

Not many Kenyans can say that they have related with a mzungu on equal terms. That is why most silly Kenyan girls get so enamoured whenever they get to interact with a mzungu no matter how poor he may be -let's tell the truth, most young foreigners who visit Kenya are piss poor hippies back packing for the sake of "finding themselves" or for "adventure".

But finally, there is a restaurant that not only allows you to interact with wazungu on an equal footing but also have them serve you. I wonder however whether Kenyans will take their ratchet table manners to the establishment. I cannot imagine a patron calling a white waiter thus,

"Wewe waiter, enda reta nyama boilo na WhiteCap biri balidi!"

Anyway, if you're wondering where the restaurant is, allow me to share the details:

Caramel is the latest entrant into the culinary market. Why haven't you heard about it you ask?

“We did essentially zero marketing, and it didn’t matter,” said CJ Bak, the developing agent said. And just how popular is the joint?

"On good days", Mr. Bak said, "each location can get 500 customers". The biggest seller? "The chicken teriyaki sub".

And how much would it set you back for you take your date there you ask? Dinner and drinks for two can easily run $200 -that's 16,000/- Kenya shillings in the least. Dinner had better involve what The Messiah described as the Water of Life!
