Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz is unapologetic for cheating on his wife, Zari Hassan, the mother of his two kids.

The Utanipenda hit singer who sired a child with Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobeto, in a recent interview with BBC revealed that the affair was bound to happen and he did not regret it.

Diamond Platnumz and Hamisa Mobeto dated back then and their relationship lasted barely a year (2009-2010) only to rekindle their love in 2016.

"BAADA YA KUACHANA WAKATI, MIMI NIKAENDELEA NA MAISHA YANGU NA MPAKA NAANZISHA MAHUSIANO YANGU NA ZARI. SHETANI AKANIPITIA NA TUKAANZA TENA KUWA NA MAWASILIANO YA KIMAHABA MPAKA PALE ALIPOPATA UJAUZITO,”

The singer said in a previous interview with a Tanzanian radio station adding;

“Nilimwambia Hamisa MIMI NI BABA MWENYE FAMILIA YANGU. INABIDI JAMBO HILI LIBAKI KATI YANGU MIMI NA WEWE. SIKUPENDA KUIKANA MIMBA, NI DAMU YANGU NA KILA SIKU IENDAYO KWA MUNGU NILIKUWA NAMPATIA MATUMIZI."

This almost cost Diamond Platnumz his relationship with Zari as she went ahead to delete all his photos and name from their childrens’ social media accounts.

But it seems that the father of three still hasn’t learnt from his mistakes and recently, he was rumoured to have gone with his baby mama to Dubai for ‘vacation’. He’s not entitled to people’s opinions about his infidelities.

Diamond Platnumz, who became the talk of the town after admitting that he was the father of Hamisa’s baby even after denying the pregnancy for quite a while, revealed that he has gained more fame, followers and his music sales have increased. He has 4.1 million followers on Instagram.

That doesn’t mean that I willingly welcome controversy but it's human nature)."

He recently released two songs Sikomi and Niache (addressing his wife, baby mama and all the woman he’s been with) which are currently dominating the local airwaves.
