This post is not tribalistic. It is not intentionally taking digs at anyone. It is just saying it as it is. That said, allow me to say, Luhyas are just hilarious. Apart from being comedians (because of their accent), they are also known as "food lovers". Luhyas can eat. They are known for their love for tea and chicken, a Luhya man can even eat a whole chicken in one seating. True story

There's a video - although it is old and has made the rounds - of a Luhya man called Elly, eating 3 kilos of ugali alone that has gone viral. The 24-year-old man eats a huge amount of ugali accompanied by "Kisumu boys" (that is omena for you barbie readers) as people watch.  How can one even finish a quarter kilo of ugali alone? Waluhya wana mambo kweli.
