'Walked in and my eyes just welled up with tears,' Willis Raburu's wife first day in church after losing child

Citizen TV presenter Willis Raburu's wife Marya stepped in church on Sunday, March 20 for the first time after losing her firstborn child on December 31, 2019.

Marya and her husband are still grieving and have been sharing tear-jerking messages about death and paying tributes to their late child.

After the loss, Marya questioned why God took their angel and in one of her Instagram posts she wrote,

EVERYONE IS SO QUICK TO TELL ME ABOUT GOD. WHAT THEY DON’T KNOW IS THAT EVERY WAY I KNEW HIM, HE WAS TESTED AND HE DIDN’T PROVE HIMSELF. SO, AS THEY SAY, YOU SHOULD KNOW GOD FOR YOURSELF. I NOW CAN SAY, I DON’T KNOW HIM. AND I DON’T THINK I WANT TO KNOW HIM COZ HE LEFT ME WHEN I NEEDED HIM THE MOST,’ SHE POSTED ONLINE.

Well, Raburu's wife seems to be slowly coming to terms with the loss and she has revealed that after stepping in church yesterday, she couldn't hold her tears.

Today was my first time to attend church in a long time, walked in and my eyes just welled up with tears, I missed being among brethren, praising and worshiping together. I had an amazing time
