Media personality Adelle Onyango is among the chosen few who will be part of the panel at the Children's Global Media Summit 2017, curated by the BBC, taking place in London.

The ‘Thriving Online’ session will explore how young people can strike a balance between freedom and wellbeing online.

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be meeting a number of hand picked delegates in an official receiving line as they arrive and Adelle Onyango is among the chosen few.

This meeting will take place on Wednesday 6th December.

Adelle went ahead to express her joy on social media writing, "The smile you get when you find out you’re one of the delegates who will be receiving Prince William and Kate Middleton - Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - at the Children’s Global Media Summit this week!"

This will definitely be an addition to her trip and a privilege as it's quite rare for people to meet the royals.

Speaking about the summit, Adelle said, "The Summit will seek to redesign the digital world for future generations of young people, within five themes of empowerment, innovation, freedom, entertainment and education. And the major thing that disrupts that is cyber bullying- something I’ve openly experienced and addressed!"
