Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu's first-born daughter Monica Njeri  tied the knot with the love of her life Dr Nyotu Gitau.

The two said I Do at the Presbyterian Church of East Africa PCEA, in Runda, an event that was attended by invites only among them Ngina Kenyatta and her son Muhoho Kenyatta.

Their colourful wedding reception was later held at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country club.

According to the groom's social media account, he studied Health Innovation at University of Cape Town and MBCHB, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at University of Nairobi, School of Medicine.

Njeri, on the other hand, is a graduate of medicine from the University of Nairobi. She is a senior doctor at the Gatundu Level 5 Hospital after being employed by the Kiambu government. Previously, she worked at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
