Betty Kyallo's salon Flair by Betty has trounced thousands of beauty parlors in the city to emerge top in the just concluded Pwani Week Fashion Week Awards.

Betty took to social media to flaunt the trophy and she thanked the organizer of the event and her fans (TeamBetty) for the support.

Her message read;

We won best Luxurious salon in the country. Thank you to our amazing team for always keeping it 100. To our clients who are the reason we keep it going. To the people who voted for us, we salute you. A big thank you to TEAM BK in Mombasa who turned up in branded shirts to cheer us on. Another one also to Pwani Week Fashion Week Awards for the nomination. Pictured with Fatma who made sure our trophy was collected and she personally delivered it. Thank you.

In a previous interview with The Star, Betty revealed that her salon is not for the rich as many claim.

It’s not a celebrity salon. It’s open to everyone, and we made it feel like home once you visit.

Betty also revealed that she was planning to open Flair by Betty in different parts of the country. She said;

That’s the growth I’m seeing in the next few years for my brand. Soon they will be launching one in one of the cities.

Flair, a high-end salon, located at the iconic FCB Mihrab along Lenana Road in Kilimani was open eight months ago and it's still the talk of the town.
