Mercy Njeri, a 43-year-old mother of one met her untimely death on 25 July 2015 after she was involved in a horrific accident in Manguo on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

Njeri was with her husband Martin Mbugua heading to Naivasha to visit their family when the accident occurred. A Range Rover belonging to Ng’ang’a collided head-on with a Nissan March  (the car Mercy and Mbugua were travelling in.)

Her husband sustained serious injuries but Mercy passed away the same night.

Things have not been easy for Mbugua since the departure of his wife.

"My wife left a void that cannot be filled," he said.

He says he has not recovered from the death of his wife who died in an accident allegedly caused by Neno Evangelism Ministries Apostle James Ng’ang’a two years ago.

He spoke at his home in Murengeti village, Limuru constituency, on Sunday during a memorial service.

Mbugua broke down when he said he wants to see justice delivered.

The case of dangerous driving and alleged police cover up will continue on August 25 at the Limuru law courts.

Ng’ang’a, driver Simon Kuria, Kenya Police Airwing inspector Christopher Nzioka and Traffic inspector Patrick Baya are being charged.
