Kenyan artiste Vivianne is among celebrities who are managed by their spouses. It can be fun or boring depending on how you want to take it.

In an interview with Dr Ofweneke, Vivianne said the reason they have survived with Sam West as her manager is knowing when to work and when to love.

'He has always been my manager. We separate work and relationships.

We got to know each other on a personal level and found it It was very easy for us to blend.

Especially because of my late nights in the studio.

If your husband is not top line he will always be threatened or intimidated.'

Being a manager to your wife is not easy and on one occasion Sam West had to slap a fan who tried to forcibly kiss his wife.

Talking in a past mpasho interview he said

‘WE WENT TO AN EVENT AND THERE WAS A FAN WHO WAS ACTING INDECENTLY BY TRYING TO TOUCH HER AND EVEN KISS HER BUT I JUST IGNORED IT.

HE THEN FOLLOWED HER AGAIN AND TRIED TO KISS HER FOR A SECOND TIME, I SLAPPED HIM SO HARD AND I DOUBT WHETHER HE WILL EVER TRY THAT AGAIN.'

He is however not jealous as he understands his wife's job.

‘I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH VIVIANNE’S  MALE FANS, WHAT HAS WORKED FOR US IS UNDERSTANDING THAT SHE IS IN THE SHOWBIZ BUSINESS AND THAT IS HER WORK.’
