Vivian and Sam West have had a budding romance that led to Sam West proposing to her on live television. The two gave Mpasho.co,ke an exclusive interview and spoke about this issue. In it, the two were very playful and did not hesitate to speak about their impending nuptials.
In the second part of their interview, they also spoke about their impending ruracio. The two had dated for about half a year before Sam decided to put a ring on it.
How sure were they that they were not making a mistake? Vivian responded:
“We are not 19, understand. So we sort of know what we want. Other people have known each other for one week and they got married.”
On having the ruracio, Vivian was very clear about what she wanted. She said;
“I am all for female empowerment. Wakijaribu kuniweka hapo kama mali, that will be the end of that ruracio.”
Then why does she participate in the ceremony?
“It is a sign of gratitude rather ownership. Me I belong to the public.”
The ruracio is going to be an occasion where the two families meet and Sam concurred. He said:
“She is into female empowerment and she doesn’t like feeling like she is being traded off. So It(the ruracio) is just making things right, making things formal. The families will meet each other That is the only place that makes a ruracio worth it. More like a family gathering.”
Sam who is clearly in love with the singer and posted something lovely for her on Valentines. He wrote:
I am so ready for our future together. I want to love you twice in my life. That's now and forever Vivian Kenya#SamWestComedyShow #ThisFriday #KenyaNationalTheatre #6pm
