'Vera Sidika and I went for three HIV tests,' whispers Otile Brown

Local singer Otile Brown finally opened up about why he and Vera Sidika decided to post their HIV test results.

Speaking to Wasafi TV in Tanzania, the hit Mapenzi Hisia singer revealed that it was actually the third time they were having the test.

"It was the third time we were actually doing it,' he said.

Adding that:

"The reason why we posted our HIV results was to encourage others to do it. it's good to have a test and get to know your status."

Otile Brown and Vera Sidika are madly in love and despite the criticism from social media users, he still protects her.

The RnB heartthrob went ahead to explain that they shared their results publicly to create awareness about the virus and encourage those who are infected never to give up.

"People thought that we posted after we found out that we were negative but that's not true. It was a random plan, we were on a road trip, saw a nice place and decided to go for a test."

Adding that "the reason why we posted was to create awareness and make people know about their status."

Otile encouraged,

"If you're HIV positive, life has to go on."
