This year looks like it is a wedding year for Kenyan celebrities. Ever since the year started, we have seen many Kenyan celebrities tie the knot among them DNG, Oliver Mathenge, Mark Masai, Hussein Mohammed and the most recent one being Kendagor Obadiah.

Apart from celebs, children of prominent Kenyans also got married this year. The daughter of the Kisumu senator Anyang Ny'ong'o recently got married to her long time boyfriend. The wedding saw family members, close relatives and friends attend. It is said to be one the wedding of the year although those in attendance were restricted from taking photos.

Former energy minister Chris Okemo’s eldest son Brian Okemo tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Kenyan Rapper Sugar, in a colourful ceremony at the Holy Family Basilica, Nairobi that saw close friends and relatives in attendance.

3. Peter Raburu

The former powerful Provincial Commissioner is the father of Citizen TV's Willis Raburu. Few months ago, one of his sons got  married to Lilian Muli (Not the notorious Tv presenter) in a colourful wedding overseas that left Kenyans talking for years.

A few weeks ago, the daughter of Siaya Senator James Orengo, Lavender Orengo got hitched to her fiance Hanington Muisyo Mutua in a traditional wedding in Ugenya. The wedding was graced by several local political leaders.

Over the weekend, Najib Balala's son tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend in a colourful wedding ceremony that saw many prominent Kenyans attend, among them President Uhuru Kenyatta.
