Her tribute read;

You were a mighty tree and under your cover, we found a shelter that nourished us and gave us the courage to believe that nothing is impossible if we believe and work towards it.

You were a room maker, and our voices were heard because you welcomed us and gave us a seat at the table. You were a history maker, a captain who walked down the path of purpose with courage and resilience, determined to live for that which was bigger than yourself and use your platform to do good.

When it’s all been said and done you lived for truth, you lived in the hope of a better day for us all. Rest in the power of the history you created. I was truly privileged to know you as my friend and my CEO.

Fare thee well.
