Talented gospel singer Mr Seed recently broke down in tears while performing on stage at his Huruma concert.

The Celebrate hitmaker, who grew up in Huruma slums held the concert just to say thanks to the community, which raised him.

Mr Seed showered his mother with love when he introduced her on stage. He said,

Amestruggle na mimi tukiishi hapa, amenisomesha. Amemake sure leo niko hapa.

(She has struggled to raise me when we were still staying here. She took me to school and she's the reason I am here today.)

When the singer's mother came to the stage, she hugged him and he couldn't control his emotions and he broke down in tears, as the crowds cheered.

He later went ahead to say;

If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be who I am today.

Mr Seed who quit Bahati's EMB record label a few weeks ago is working alone and is yet to be signed by another record label.
