Utalia! John Wambua's moving tribute to wife Mariam Kighenda and daughter Amanda

A sombre mood engulfed Mung’ala village, Kilome Constituency, Makueni county as John Wambua's wife Mariam Kighenda and daughter Amanda Mutheu were laid to rest.

Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana, Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, area MP Dan Maanzo and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka led hundreds of mourners to bid Mariam and Amanda goodbye.

Many eulogized Mariam as a God-fearing, humble soul, loving and caring. Her husband John Wambua paid a touching tribute to the mother of his two children, leaving mourners sobbing uncontrollably.

His eulogy was read by a relative during the burial service at AIC Kima.

One thing that attracted me during our courtship period twelve years ago was her kindness and Christian Values. When she agreed to marry me twelve years ago, I felt I was the luckiest man in the whole world,'  Wambua said.

we had a neat family full of love, laughter and prowess of a bright future.
