I can’t believe Prezzo, the CMB Prezzo cooled his heels for a whole night and a day inside a police cell. It really happened! Now the flashy Kenyan rapper, real names Jackson Ngechu Makini, is set to appear in court on July 21 to answer to two counts of assault and creating disturbance.
Prezzo, who is no stranger to controversy, was arrested at Nairobi’s Nyayo Estate in Embakasi on Saturday afternoon, after he was involved in some drama with a KQ pilot. He is alleged to have threatened and unleashed a slap on the pilot, Stanley Kipchumba before his arrest. I hear the slap would have put to shame the infamous Kidero slap on Nairobi Women Rep. Rachael Shebesh!
Prezzo was locked up at Embakasi police station, but released on a police cash bail of Sh20,000 on Sunday evening. That’s according to Embakasi DCIO Ephantus Kimulwa. He confirmed that the rapper was indeed in police custody and is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
