UTACHEKA ULIE! How Kenyans Reacted To Mark Zuckerberg Visiting A Kibanda

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg made a surprise visit to Kenya on Thursday, 1st September.

After arriving, the billionaire joined ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru for fish at Mama Oliech's - a popular eatery owned by the mother of Kenyan footballer Dennis Oliech.

Where Zuckerberg chose to have lunch left many in shock simply because people of his calibre normally prefer to wine and dine in posh five star hotels.

Photos of the internet entrepreneur having lunch having lunch at a 'cheap' hotel - which they call a kibanda - have prompted reactions from social media users.

Although the eatery is not exactly a kibanda, Kenyans On Twitter (KOT) are now using it as a reason to attack broke people who live above their means.

The reactions I have seen are extremely hilarious, some people are even suggesting that the hotel be renamed Mukuru Kwa Zuckerberg. Over to you Mama Oliech!
