According to a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (Sipri), the government ordered for the drone, dubbed ScanEagle at a cost of $9.86 million (Sh1 billion).
The super expensive military weapon which is set to arrive in September, will be used to conduct real-time surveillance on Somalia-based al Shabaab terrorists alongside other major crime scenes inside Kenya’s borders.
