Thika residents are in utter shock after a woman turned on her husband and stabbed him with three different knives during a domestic squabble.

reports that the woman who goes by the name Wangari had been putting up with the deceased - Fredrick Mwangi Gitau - until the day that they fell out.

The woman got into a disagreement with the man who earned a living as a caretaker at an apartment in Ngoiwa estate on Thursday, March 23 and stabbed him to death.

After committing the heinous act, Wangari ran away with a child that she bore with the 30 year-old man and another one from a previous relationship.

The incident was confirmed by Thika Deputy OCPD Bernard Ayoo who said they found the three knives next to Gitau's lifeless body.

The deceased, he said, also had several knife wounds on the chest, adding that there were signs that the couple struggled before the man was stabbed.

Ayoo also appealed to anyone with information that will lead to the arrest of the said woman or help them with their investigations to come forward.
