Police have launched a manhunt for members of a gang that raped a 43-year-old woman and her daughters in Isinya, Kajiado County.
The woman passed away at the hospital where she was being treated after the horrifying ordeal. She is said to have suffered from shock.
According to eye witnesses, the gang ordered everybody to lie down when they got to her house deceased's before covering them.
They then asked the woman to produce the Sh75,000 that had been contribute at a church fundraiser before proceeding to rape her and her daughter in laws.
It is not the first time such an incident has been reported in the area. In the last two weeks, up to six similar cases have been reported, according to the police.
The woman will be laid to rest next Tuesday while her daughter are still receiving treatment at a local health facility.
