With less than 12 months remaining to the next general election, many candidates both those who are in position and those who aren't are already warming up. No one wants to be sent back home and replaced by a new candidate come August 2017. Those in position are probably looking for new tricks to lie to their people so that they can be re-elected. But woe unto them, as most will not be re-elected; from governors to senators to MPs. Already consituents have noted that some of are just bench warmers, they have never even uttered a word during the mheshimiwa sessions in parliament or the senate.

Embakasi MP George Theuri seems to be among the many politicians who might be shown the door by people from his constituency. Ever since he was elected, Theuri has always been hitting headlines for all the wrong reasons prompting many to question his status as a leader in the society. Residents from his constituency have for the past four years complained about the poor roads, drainage and even insecurity but it seems all these issues raised have fallen on a deaf ear.

Theuri who is said to be a son of another MP sitting in the same chamber has once again caused a stir online after he savagely attacked a woman on social media. The lady did not mince her words in calling out mheshimiwa Theuri. The woman said that the roads in Theuri's constituency are in the worst state while all he does is organize for non-constructive  "events" which are valueless. She also asked if Theuri understands his duties or the MP title is just for show or swag. The controversial MP did not take this lightly and he responded back, lashing out at the damsel in anger.
