"Who bewitched Harambee Stars? Who is going to reclaim their lost glory? What is ailing our national team?" These are just some of the questions Kenyan fans are asking themselves. What do we do as a nation?

On Sunday, Harambee Stars were not lucky as they lost 1-0 to visiting Guinea-Bissau in a tense match played at the Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi. The visitors scored a controversial goal in the 81st minute denying our national team any chance of representing the country in the 2017 AFCON competition.

This did not down go well with Harambee Stars fans who had anticipated a win. They started pelting stones and water bottles at match officials forcing police to intervene with teargas to disperse the rowdy crowds but shock on you! While a few were trying to maintain peace at the stadium, others were busy posing for photos with Harambee Stars captain and Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama.
