A certain man from Ukambani must be thanking God for being alive, if at all he is, after he pulled a 'James Bond moment' in Machakos over the weekend.

A video that has been doing rounds online shows people moving away from a chopper as it was about to take off. However, one 'courageous' man, was not even bothered.

He is seen hanging on to the helicopter before stepping on its skids as it takes off from the ground. At this point, people in the crowd can be heard screaming their lungs out.

Shortly later, the man lost his grip and he is seen falling to the ground while people rush to confirm whether he is alive or not.

Luckily, media reports indicate that he survived.

Here's the video:

This 'fad' of hanging on to helicopters as they are about to take off was started by one man by the name Saleh Wanjala.

The 41-year-old surprised people after clinging on a chopper which had delivered the body of slain billionaire Jacob Juma in Bungoma.

A few months later one Julius Mwithalie from Meru followed in his footsteps and hang on an aircraft that was carrying Leader Raila Odinga. He was later nicknamed "Meru James Bond."

And now, ladies and gentlemen, we have Ukambani James Bond. Drum rolls tafadhali!
