Football fans never cease to amaze me with the extreme lengths they are willing to go just to show support for certain clubs.

Read:

In the past, we've heard news that a fan committed suicide after his favorite team lost a match, others burn down their houses or destroy their property (mostly TV sets), some even abandon their families.

And now, a supporter of Gor Mahia - a club that has long been associated with hooliganism - has 'upped the game' and done something that has shocked Kenyans.

Ahead of the match pitting arch-rivals Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards dubbed the 'Mashemeji Derby' to be played at exactly 3pm on Sunday, a fan has shown his love for the club in the unlikeliest of ways.

The ardent Gor Mahia supporter decided to engrave the club's name on his body using the most painful procedure he could find and I'm not talking about tattoos!

Photos doing rounds on social media show a man's forearm with the words 'GOR MAHIA' etched on it. If you take a close look, you'll realize that that his skin was literally peeled of using a knife or some sharp object so as to have the club's name inscribed.

Here are the photos.

After seeing those photos, what length are you willing to go to show support for you team?
