Two men from Bomet County have left social media users in stitches after using a cunning trick to steal a goat.

According to a local daily, the two men put the goat into a sack before placing a helmet on its head so as to hide the horns.

They told residents who had stopped them that they were taking their sick grandmother to hospital and had put her in the sack to protect her from cold.

Their proverbial forty days came to an abrupt end when the goat bleated, thereby exposing them.
