2016 is the year of Kenyan celebrities. If you are not married too bad for you, do something. Daddy Owen and Bob Collymore set the trend for the rest of Kenyan celebrities when they tied the knot with their lovely wives early this year. Many celebrities accepted 'the challenge' and we have seen hundreds of them walk down the aisle.

Well, over the weekend, celebrated Jameni Comedy actor Jaluo Aruga Aruga (FB username) popularly known as Pengle tied the knot with his longtime sweetheart in a colorful Nigerian themed wedding. The brides dressed a in yellow African dress and  pink head wrap (dhuku/gele) which holds a distinct position in the history of Africa while the groom dressed in white African suit with yellow head cover commonly referred to as fila by Nigerians.

The wedding was attended by top celebrities, colleagues, close friends and family members only. The witty comedian is said to have spent millions on the wedding and a look at the photos from the event tells so. The decor was also on point.

Jameni is one of the most talked about local shows aired on KTN that has a huge following after The Real Househelps of Kawangware that is aired on the same station. The show mimics politicians and local celebrities. Its creativity is proof that indeed Kenya has rich talent.
