Uhuru Kenyatta is one of the most charismatic presidents Kenyans have had. And that may be because he is also the youngest.

Being a leader of a country can be tough especially when one tries to shepherd it while still maintaining the love and adoration of his/her people.

One way of keeping your citizens happy and enamoured with you is by doing things that mimic the common man's habits. Uhuru, in this case, decided to take a penalty while launching the inter-county games in Kisii County. The video is below:

The penalty went in but because the keeper who was Kisii governor James E.O. Ongwae isn't exactly the best keeper.

The purpose of such displays is to connect with the common mwananchi. There is one leader who revels in performing publicity stunts. His name is Vladimir Putin. Some of the most extravagant things that he has ever done are below:

Saving a film crew from a tiger attack

The face of Russian politics was in the news in August 2008. Why? He personally saved a film crew from a tiger that had escaped its restraints.

Putin had visited the Ussuri Nature Reserve to observe the nature reserve and luckily had a tranquilizer gun to shoot it when it escaped. The video is below:

Beating his opponents in judo like they were amateurs

Putin is an active Judo practitioner. And while he may not be the worst at it, the way he beats them in front of the cameras makes one wonder whether they have been told to take it easy on the leader. Let's not kid ourselves, they most likely have.

Racing a F1 car

Even I have to commend him for the big coconuts that he has between his legs. In October 2010, a month after signing a deal to bring the sport to Russia, Putin was piloting an F1 car at speeds approaching the 300km/hr mark!

Baring his chest in the cold of Siberia

The Russian president decided to fish bare-chested while in the cold region of Siberia in 2008. He did so again in 2009, but while riding a horse!
