Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko and his deputy Polycarp Igathe were today sworn into office at Uhuru park in style.

The park was well decorated and full of fans and supporters of the newly elected Nairobi governor. They wanted to share the joy and success that Mike Mbuvi Sonko and Polycarp Igathe are enjoying.

In attendance was President Uhuru Kenyatta accompanied by his Deputy William Ruto and Dr. Evans Kidero who was to hand over his seat to Sonko.

The ceremony was graced by various celebrities who performed to the large crown. Artistes such as DK Kwenye Beat, Bahati, Ben Githae and Rufftone wowed the crowd.

Mr Nice from Tanzania was also present to grace the inauguration. Mr Nice being East Africa's favourite did not have it all rosy during his performance.

Now, we all know not everyone comes with good intentions to gigs. Something Mr Nice may have not had an inkling of. Having a large following in Kenya, he took  the stage with a lot of enthusiasm and went close to his fans as he performed. This wasn't really the best idea as he had expected it to be.
