President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, the incumbent leading up to the 2017 Kenyan polls has been declared the winner by IEBC after what both African and Western observers agree was a free and fair election.

The election results are being hotly contested by Raila Odinga and his allies in the National Super Alliance who have consistently cited electoral malpractices and alleged hacking as their main gripe with the entire process but IEBC chose to move forward with the formalities nonetheless.

This marks the end of what has been a tense period post the actual voting day and hopefully we can get back to life as usual because at the end of the day, the day ends.
