Two boys were last night killed and at least ten others injured in a fire incident at Stephjoy Boys High School in Limuru area, Kiambu County. The fire affected a dormitory that had up to 60 boys. Police say they are yet to know the cause of he fire.

Those injured were admitted at the Limuru Sub-county hospital. Police say they are investigating the incident as a team of detectives is already at the school recording statements from management and survivors.

Investigators want to establish if the incident was the work of arsonists. The fire is said to have started at about 1 am on Monday as most students were sleeping. Stephjoy Boys is a private school with more than 400 students.
