“Twisted” is a star-studded series in the making. The cast is characteristic of a variety of characters and lively, sexy women. It's being directed by the talented Neil Schell who brought you “Rush”, “Saints”, “Higher Learning” among others.

“It's about three independent women trying to make it in male dominated careers. Their struggle through life, love, friendship, enemies and the pressure that comes with all these,” Scolly Cheruto (far right in the picture), the creator and the producer of the show. She's the founder of Cheruscopic Productions. Scolly also plays the role of Terry, an antagonist in the series.

Debbie Asila, Brenda Mwai, and Sision Torome and Serah Ndanu are some of the actors who will make up the show. Actress Sarah Hassan (Tanya) is bound to make a guest appearance at some point in the series.

I asked her about her journey as an actor and here's what she had to tell me:

“As an actor I have been acting for 9 years now starting from set books, stage plays, then TV. I've done Plot 10, Vitimbi, Classmates, Mheshimiwa, The GAVANA Ghow, Rush, LOKOLOKO and now Twisted... The list is actually endless. I've been a producer for one year now, done two shows so far. Lokoloko is a comedy show that airs on Mnet (39 episodes). I'm currently working on new projects which will be ready in a month's or two's time – 6 of movies and a comedy called 'Chema na Babu.”
