For over 10 years, gorgeous TV personality Grace Msalame has graced our screens. She had breaks in between until she took a longer hiatus. It has been a while now and her fans may have been wondering what she has been up to behind the scenes.

Well, she is now a Senior Executive at Bamba TV, where she is "sourcing, acquiring, and scheduling content, and hopefully in my own small way becoming a Game Changer…"

This is a according to a deep story she put up on her blog. It had been 8 months since she posted and her friend Janet nudged her to go back and revive her first love; writing. She says that she is happy to take up the new challenge, learn, make mistakes, fail, succeed...because she's ready for success.

The most important part of the blog post is where she explained what it is like being a single mom.

"An article was posted about the rise of strong, single (not married), successful women and posing the question whether this is the new trend? Whether this is the New Nairobi Woman?," she posed.

She said that being single and having kids to nurture is not an easy task. However, she seems to have a way around this...

"And though he gave most of us a pat on the back for not choosing to wallow in misery if I could put it that way, I also need to say that the reality for many of us single women, is that it's not really by choice, especially those of us with children, but we choose to get on with it, keep moving and make the best of what we have regardless of our marital status, when you have children looking up to you, you really must be the best version of yourself," she added.

There you have it. Being single is not by choice...she just had to get on with it because she doesn't want to let her kids down. She has an obligation to fulfill. Strong woman I should say.
