Kantai was one of the greatest rappers around and some of his popular hits include Huu Ni Nani G, Issues, Put it On and his collabo with late female rapper STL Happy.

He was eulogized as a good man who loved his family and was very social. His manager, Wanjiku Thuku, previously told Mpasho.co.ke that he was:

A JOVIAL MAN AND LOVABLE PERSON (MTU WA WATU).

Adding, for people who crossed his path and dissed him, and tried to spoil his name, he didn’t care. He  would simply tell them:

I’M KANTAI. AM A G, PEOPLE SHOULD RESPECT ME. HE WAS A GOOD FAMILY MAN. HE REALLY LOVED HIS FAMILY.

The late was trying to get back to music after a stint in rehab and was set to release an album this year.
