Read:
Kanini, who is survived by her two children namely Peter and Jasmine and husband George, will be buried on Saturday, April 8 at her husband's Naromoru home in Nanyuki town.
Family and friends will meet starting today, Monday, April 3, at Nairobi Baptist Church until Wednesday, 5 April to plan how to give the deceased a decent send off.
NTV news anchor Larry Madowo broke the news of Kanini's sudden demise on social media and shook the whole nation to its core.
Many couldn't believe that she had passed away because she had announced that she was cancer-free in February last year.
Taking to Facebook, the 39-year-old revealed that an MRI scan conducted on her showed no signs of lesions in her liver, abdomen, bones, lymph nodes and lungs.
She went on to say that doctors had told her husband that she had between six months and a year to live. However, Ikua did not to inform her about it until her health improved.
