Tutaonana Baadaye! Former Kameme FM presenter Njoki wa Ndegwa dies

The media fraternity is mourning the passing on of Njoki wa Ndegwa. The former Kameme FM presenter passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018, while receiving treatment at the Parklands Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas USA.

Njoki wa Ndegwa was battling metastatic brain tumors.

In 2014, Njoki wa Ndegwa was diagnosed with breast cancer, and she bravely fought the disease and was given a clean bill of health.  But in 2017, after a short illness, she visited a doctor only to be diagnosed with metastatic brain tumors.

This affected her a lot and she was admitted to a hospital in the USA for further treatment only to be pronounced dead on 16th of this month.

Many have described Njoki wa Ndegwa as a hardworking, multitalented radio presenter, who was passionate about her job.

Through their official Facebook account, Kameme FM mourned the late in this special message:

"She was once a Kameme FM presenter....

She went abroad for another FM presenter...

She was a determined Lady whom we shall live to remember....

An icon. Njoki wa Ndegwa Rest In Peace."

The late was the co-founder and host of Jambo Radio Network online station.
