KTN's James Smart has called it quits at the Mombasa Road-based media house but a series of posts on his Twitter account have left Kenyans wondering what could have gone amiss.

Smart, who left NTV in November 2012 to join KTN announced that he had decided to leave the latter television station through a tweet adding that it had been a good run.

However, a tweet that he posted before announcing his departure is what has left many of his fans speculating whether he might have fallen out with his  bosses.

Smart said "when a ship begins to sink, it's the rats that are first to leave" making his fans even more suspicious about the move.

Other reliable sources say that he got into an argument with one of the senior managers at KTN. However,  this had not been confirmed by press time.
