2017 seems to be a bad year financially. It's March and many are yet to recover the thousands they lost in December. But to some like Alex Mutuku, the man whose photos of him flaunt his wealth have surfaced, life is easy.

But who is Alex Mutuku?

Alex Mutuku is a 28-year-old University of Nairobi graduate with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce (Business Information Systems Option) who was yesterday charged with hacking Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) systems and causing the loss of Sh4 billion.

Mutuku has been detained for 40 days and nights until 28th of this month when the court will rule whether he will be released on bond.

Well, Mutuku has been a local tourist and recently, he visited several African countries among them Uganda, Zanzibar, Burundi, Zambia and Botswana among others. The 28-year-old lad is also not afraid of flaunting what he 'owns' and Kenyans are shocked by how Mutuku is spending the alleged stolen money.
