Kenyan football is characterised by hooliganism. Despite the fact that the two football bodies FKF and KPL are trying to end the shameful act, it seems this is not going to stop anytime soon. During matches, security is always tight both outside and inside the stadium to ensure no one enters the stadium with harmful objects or causes chaos while the match is going on but hooligans always find their way in.
At times, our players lives is always at risk when chaos erupt, fans throw all sorts of objects on the pitch without knowing the harm it can cause. But how do fans enter through the gates with such objects? What's the work of the security officers?
Well, I came across this photo (below) of a man carrying something that looked like a can of tear gas but am not sure if its really teargas. Could it be an empty can, a water bottle or what could it be?
Football fans should shun away from such and support the good game in peace. Football is a game, hooliganism is a shame!
