'Its traumatizing,' Monica Kimani's father cries

Monica Kimani's murder trial case is on. The trial kicked off on Tuesday and more than 30 witnesses are set to appear before the court to testify against Jowie, the main suspect in Monica's death.

Photos of the businesswoman's apartment after she was killed and dumped at her bathtub were shown in court leaving many in tears. She was slit from ear to ear.

Monica's father cleric Paul Nyangarama jas confessed that it is a tough time for his family and he hopes justice will be served.  Taking to Facebook, he wrote,

Keep me in prayers day two hearing, its traumatizing and tiresome being in court 5 -6 hours, for sure just mention me and my family in your prayers

In another post, he wrote,

Today I witnessed the confusion on the sides of the accused lawyer, a lot of forgetting what he was to ask, that why am requesting my born again friends to pray with, sure prayers works.

The slain businesswoman was working in Sudan and had visited Nairobi when she met her gruesome death.
