A few days ago, friends and relatives of Tabitha Wachuka – a student at JKUAT – took to social media ask anyone with information concerning her whereabouts to come forth.
According to her uncle, Elijah Mwangi, the university student disappeared on Sunday the previous week and efforts to trace her bore no fruit.
Reports indicate that Tabitha was last seen moments before police raided a birthday party she was attending alongside her friends in Juja town on Saturday, October 8.
Those who attended the party said they noticed she had disappeared after they assembled some minutes past midnight.
What followed was a relentless search by her friends and relatives who did all they could to locate her, keeping hope alive while at it.
Unfortunately, her lifeless body was discovered floating inside a septic tank that is not far from the venue of the party she had earlier attended.
It is still not clear whether someone killed her before dumping her body in the tank or if she fell into it while running away from the police.
With a heavy heart, her uncle who had earlier posted a message asking for information that could help them find Tabitha, broke the sad news of her demise.
Looking at her Facebook page, you can easily tell that Tabitha was a jolly girl and it makes one wonder what anyone could have had against her. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
