A mother is supposed to be the person a child trusts the most in the world. The oft-repeated phrase nothing has been used the world over to show the fierce dedication that a mother has to her own off-spring.

The next account brings that phrase into question as the victim in this story didn't experience this maxim.  A 40-year-old woman in Trans Nzoia County was on Tuesday arrested for allegedly beating her 13-year-old son to death.

Janet Indimuli, allegedly beat up her son, Meshack Nangile, at Kapkoi sisal village in Waitaluk location within Trans Nzoia with a firewood stick for failing to return home early after being sent to a shop.

Trans Nzoia county police Commander, Samson Ole Kine, confirmed the incident adding that the deceased's body had bruises on the feet and hands. He said.

"He was found dead in his bed in the morning after he failed to wake up as usual. The body has been moved to Cherangany Nursing Mortuary awaiting postmortem."

The deceased's mother is being held in custody as the police . A horrible tale of someone going overboard in their reaction.
