Not everyone is totally excited about the MTV MAMAs. Recently, artist Burna Boy blasted MTV Base Africa for not including him in the nominee's list. The fact that South African Rapper AKA has been nominated in the Best Artist category for this years MTV MAMAs has not stopped him from ranting.
The "Run Jozi" rapper has taken to Twitter to complain about not being wholy appreciated for the job he did. The rapper whose real name is Kiernan Jordan Forbes has said that the popular station hurt him really bad but all he can do is move on.
Kenya's Sauti Sol, Tanzania's Vanessa Mdee, South African rapper K.O. and Davido are among the artistes making this year's nominees. Rapper AKA collaborated with Kenya's Xtatic on the hit song back in 2012.
He also says that he produced one of the best club bangers of the past year such that it has succeeded worldwide; from South Africa to the UK.
