Daily nation apologizes  for the image published on the first page of their newspaper. Check the apology below:

"The Daily Nation issue of Thursday, October 23, 2014, published a picture — on Page 1 in the final edition and in the inside pages in earlier editions — of two lambs suckling a cow.

The picture was purportedly taken the previous day at a farm in Chepkeche village of Uasin Gishu County.

We have since learnt that the picture, taken in New Zealand, was ‘lifted’ from the Internet and submitted to the Daily Nation. Nation Media Group enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy to plagiarism, and therefore appropriate administrative action has been taken against those involved.

We take this early opportunity to apologise to the actual owner of the photo, whom we commend for capturing a most unusual, appealing and heartwarming image. We are sorry for having misled our readers and assure them of improved vigilance to avoid recurrence of such errors."
