Akothee like many women, has struggled to understand why sometimes men tend to think that they have control over a woman's body in the society.

Awhile ago, there were cases of men undressing women in public, under the guise that what they had worn left them half naked. This led to women taking to the streets in protest to say their dress was their choice.

Akothee, the Benefactor hitmaker was not left out and even went ahead to record a video to tell men that they should let women be, in matters dressing.

She said that men should stop the violence against women blaming it on their choice of dresses.

Since then Akothee has moved her protest from the streets to her dress code and proved that how she dresses is upto her and only her.
