It's Time to Get Old! Valerie Kimani Turns 30

She won the first ever Tusker Project Fame reality show which secured her a three year recording contract with top South African recording company, Gallo Record Company.

Valerie released Her debut album, Baiskeli in 2007 at age 23 and that's when things started working out for her. She's worked with top producers in East Africa like; Eric Wainaina, Tim Rimbui, Kanjii Mbugua, Jack Odongo of African Heritage and the legendary Kassongo wa Kanema of the world-famous Super Mazembe. 

Valerie also worked with South Africa’s leading producer/songwriter Theo Kgosinkwe, a member of South Africa’s best Afro-Pop groups ‘Mafikizolo’. In short she's had a wonderful musical journey and yesterday she was celebrating her 30th birthday and she had a message.
