A month after the Garissa University attack, the wounds are still fresh. Kenyans seem not to forget what happened in Garissa anytime soon. The lives of young professionals were cut short by the Al-Shabaab militia group.

Over the weekend, NTV's investigative reporter, Dennis Okari, aired a dumbfounding expose "Children of a Lesser God", that left many in tears. Okari narrated how the helpless students at Moi University Garissa Campus were butchered in day broad light.

Through his Facebook account, Okari confessed how he burst into tears while writing the script for "Children of a Lesser God". Here is what he wrote

"I have to admit, I cried a lot while writing the script and going through hours of footage of the agonizing and untimely deaths of the Garissa Students. I have never felt emotionally and physically drained doing a story like this one. I will NEVER forget those faces and names especially Stella's family. I looked into the eyes of Mama Stella and I was broken at what I saw. Pain, agony and a deep cry that can't be summarized in words. My prayers for the families that are still searching for answers. God is with you during this trying times.

Thank you for your feedback everyone. Let's remember to pray for these families."
