The Gospel industry's best worship artiste, Alice Kimanzi, today remembered her late dad who passed on two months ago.

Alice's dad, Mr Kibebe passed on in November after  a fierce and courageous battle against cancer and pneumonia.

He had been responding well to chemotherapy until he suffered an infection that led to his admission at a Nairobi hospital where he breathed his last on November 13.

Alice is famed for doing the cover of Let Praises Rise.

In a past post, Alice mourned her dad.

She wrote on Instagram, "Oh dad, this is by far the hardest thing I've ever faced in my life. My heart is filled with sorrow because i wanted much more time with you. I miss your embrace, your leadership, your humour. There's no doubt that you loved us. You made us memorize scriptures and showed us how to serve the Lord with our gifts. As we lay you to rest today I know that Jesus has received you and given you a crown of glory and rest that is far beyond comprehension. Now you have joined the cloud of witnesses urging us on in this race. Well done, Good and faithful servant!

We will see you again.
