'This candle burns for baby Malachi,' Kambua's co-host mourns her little angel

Singer and media personality Kambua Manundu Mathu lost her second born child days after he was born.

She detailed how doctors tried their level best to save his life.

Kambua announced the death of baby Malachi in a heartbreaking statement hours after he was buried.

She wrote on her Instagram,

"Malachi knew how much he was loved, and so he did all he could to stay with us. With the help of a most dedicated team of doctors & nurses, our little baby fought, until Jesus healed him by taking him to Himself."

Adding,

"Malachi is now free from pain, and any worldly care. Our tears fall freely because our hearts are broken beyond words. But our faith and hope remain unshaken because we have our trust in a dependable God."

Kambua continued,

"Malachi Manundu Muthiga Mathu. You were deeply loved, and will forever be remembered. Your Father, your mommy, and your brother Nathaniel will carry you in our hearts always 💛💛💛."

Her co-host on Citizen TV's Rauka, Karwirwa Laura mourned with her.

Karwirwa posted a tribute for baby Malachi saying,

"This candle burns tonight for baby Malachi."

Kambua requested family, friends and fans to give her and her family time to mourn in private.
