The world is still mourning after Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli passed away while receiving treatment in his home country.
Bulldozer as he was well known by his people passed away due to heart complications according to his vice President Samia Suluhu.

- John Pombe served as the fifth President of Tanzania.
- He served as Minister of Works, Transport and Communications from 2000 to 2005 and 2010 to 2015.
- He was chairman of the Southern African Development Community from 2019 to 2020.
- He was married to Janet Magufuli and they had two kids namely Jessica Magufuli and Joseph Magufuli.
- He was a great fan of Sauti Sol,Kenya's top boys band.
- He held a bachelor of science in education degree majoring in chemistry and mathematics as teaching subjects.
- He also earned his masters and doctorate degrees in chemistry from the University of Dar es Salaam.
- His sister Monicah Joseph Magufuli passed away in 2018.
